Einkaufsmöglichkeiten In deiner Umgebung findest du alles Lebensnotwendige - einfach der Straße Richtung Nord-Osten folgend (entgegengesetzt eures Ausblickes) befinden sich in ca. 300m mehrere Supermärkte (Netto, Aldi, Edeka, Rossmann, Lidl, DM etc.) in der Elbestaße. In ca. 450m befindet sich zudem „Der Bioladen“ (Friedrichstraße), den ihr parallel zum Holzhafen in der Friedrichstraße 19 findet. Freizeitgestaltung Und natürlich gibt es von uns als Urbremerhavener noch ein paar Tipps für deinen Aufenthalt :-)Also in Bremerhaven gibt es die Hauptattraktionen wie das Klimahaus, das Auswandererhaus und das Deutsche Schifffahrtsmuseum. Ist alles drei zu empfehlen - je nachdem wozu ihr mehr Lust habt. Shoppen kann man super im Columbus Center und in der Bürger, die direkt am Columbus Center unterhalb anschließt. Restaurants | Cafés Um Morgens ein ausgiebiges Frühstück zu genießen, wirst du bei der Stadtbäckerei Engelbrecht (350m entfernt in der Bürgermeister-Smidt-Straße) oder in den Lokalen Petit four (500m entfernt), Casper David (550m entfernt) und Strandhalle (1,1 km entfernt) sehr gut fündig. Wenn du abends was essen gehen willst, können wir dir je nach Appetit viele gute (auch unsere Lieblings-) Restaurants empfehlen! Villa Seebeck, Mama mia, Scarla, Casper David, Sushi Grill & Bar oder the Liberty. Absolute Empfehlung um Fisch zu essen ist der Fischereihafen, der gleich mehrere schöne Restaurants in einer Flaniermeile bietet. Etwas fußläufig in ca. 500m vom Fischereihafen befindet sich ein weiteres kleines Fischbistro „Gern‘ ans Meer“, das wir euch als Geheimtipp für leckere Fischgerichte in ungezwungener Atmosphäre empfehlen können. Wenn du nicht zu spontan bist, ruf vorher eben in den Restaurants deiner Wahl an. Am Wochenende sind die Besten meist voll - was bei den oben genannten der Fall ist. (Wir schicken dich ja nicht irgendwo hin, wo wir selbst nicht von überzeugt sind! ;-) Bars Wenn du Abends noch was trinken willst, gibt es da super Möglichkeiten in der Alten Bürger. Da gibt es genügend Bars wo man sich niederlassen kann. Wenn du es etwas stillvoller magst, bietet sich die roof top bar im the Liberty (Hotel) an oder die Cocktailbar direkt neben dem Cinemotion Kino im Zentrum. Geheimtipp Und hier auch ein kleiner Geheimtipp - wenn das Wetter es zu lässt, schnapp dir ein paar Drinks, geh an den Deich und genieß den Sonnenuntergang, der dir genau vor deiner Nase serviert wird. Danach kannst du super noch zu Fuß alle weiteren Locations erreichen. Zieh dich aber warm an, bei uns im Norden kann der Wind wirklich kalt werden. Simply follow the road northeast (opposite your current view), and you'll find several supermarkets (Netto, Aldi, Edeka, Rossmann, Lidl, DM, etc.) on Elbestraße within about 300 meters. Leisure Activities And of course, as native Bremerhaven residents, we have a few more tips for your stay :-) Bremerhaven boasts major attractions like the Climate House, the German Emigration Center, and the German Maritime Museum. All three are highly recommended – depending on what you're most interested in. For great shopping, head to the Columbus Center and the Bürger shopping mall, which is directly adjacent to the Columbus Center below. Restaurants | Cafés For a leisurely breakfast in the morning, you'll find excellent options at the Engelbrecht bakery (350m away on Bürgermeister-Smidt-Straße) or at the cafes Petit Four (500m away), Casper David (550m away), and Strandhalle (1.1 km away). If you'd like to eat out in the evening, we can recommend many good restaurants (including some of our favorites) to suit your appetite! A short walk of about 500 meters from the harbor is another small fish bistro, "Gern' ans Meer," which we consider a hidden gem for delicious fish dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. If you're not too spontaneous, it's a good idea to call ahead to your chosen restaurants. The best ones are usually packed on weekends – which is the case with the ones mentioned above. (We wouldn't send you somewhere we're not convinced by ourselves! ;-) Bars If you'd like to grab a drink in the evening, the Alte Bürger area offers plenty of options. There are lots of bars where you can relax. If you prefer something a bit more sophisticated, the rooftop bar at The Liberty Hotel is a great choice. Insider Tip And here's a little insider tip – weather permitting, grab some drinks, head to the dike, and enjoy the sunset right before your eyes. Afterward, you can easily reach all the other locations on foot. Just be sure to dress warmly; the wind can get quite chilly up here in the north.
